After realizing how many of my friends and people that I meet are crippled by fear and have loads of questions concerning standing up and being bold, I decided to create a downloadable free resource to help.
I created this digital resource to share the many lessons that I've learned on this crazy journey i've experienced since going viral for standing up to school boards nationwide. My hope is to multiply myself in others by empowering friends and the people I've met throughout my travels to be BOLD.

I believe that bravery is inside us all, it just has to be Discovered! Being bold and walking in courage isn't as difficult as some people may think. Are you ready to be brave?
Here's an overview of each section in this digital resource on How To Be Brave.
1: Understand and Acknowledge your Fears
2: Educate Yourself
3: Take Small Steps
4: Develop a Support System and Build Community
5: Bringing It All Together
I compiled some of the things that I did to overcome fear during a time when I was forced to stand up and be bold in my community. I was alone, I didn't have a manual, but I knew I couldn't live in fear.
I first had to understand and acknowledge what it was that scared me the most. Then I began to educate myself on everything relating to public speaking, 1st amendment rights, and labor laws (thank you Google!). Taking small steps are what I did next, I started to imagine myself in the scenarios that made me afraid and managed to think about how I would handle those situations ahead of time - before they ever happened. It took a large support system to help me to feel secure in myself; friends, family, like minded organizations, etc.
But in the end, I had to put all of this together and face the fear head on. I did it and regret nothing. Now I find myself in situations that would have previously made me tremble in fear, but I navigate them with confidence and a level head.
It's my hope that this digital resource helps you to start stepping out and being bold. I can't WAIT to hear about the things you'll accomplish when you decide to take courage and be brave!

Want to learn about someone who's decision to be brave helped to change an entire nation and shape the future? Here's some information from Britannica about American Civil Rights Activist, Rosa Parks:
"Rosa Parks was an American civil rights activist whose refusal to give up her seat on a public bus precipitated the 1955–56 Montgomery bus boycott in Alabama, which became the spark that ignited the civil rights movement in the United States. She is known as the “mother of the civil rights movement.”"
"When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery, Alabama, city bus for white passengers in 1955, she was arrested for violating the city’s racial segregation ordinances. Her action sparked the Montgomery bus boycott, led by the Montgomery Improvement Association and Martin Luther King, Jr., that eventually succeeded in achieving desegregation of the city buses. The boycott also helped give rise to the American civil rights movement."
Here's some information from Britannica about the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln:
"Abraham Lincoln’s chief goal in the American Civil War was to preserve the Union. At the outset of the war, he would have done so at any cost, including by allowing slavery to continue. But abolishing slavery would become a nonnegotiable objective for him as the war progressed because of his own long-expressed abhorrence for the practice and because of the growing antislavery sentiment among his fellow Northerners. His intransigence on the subject scuttled possibilities of a peace conference between the Union and the Confederacy in 1864. By winning the war, he achieved both these objectives—reunion and abolition."
