It's 2024 and impossible to be alive in the United States of America without seeing all the different forms of propaganda regarding the upcoming presidential election.
Is Jesus on the ballot? Nope. He is definitely not on the ballot, He is on the Throne.

But really, why do so many Christian people say they are voting for Jesus and not participating in elections? (I have no clue to be honest!)
America is in a dire situation at present. Never have we been closer to a legitimate threat of a 3rd World War. Apart from that, within our nation we have grown adults creating policies to allow for children to undergo gender reassignment surgeries without knowledge or consent from parents. There are approximately 800,000+ abortions performed annually and the world appears to be on fire. So why do Christians say they are voting for Jesus by not voting at all? Still, I have no idea.
In the United States of America we have been given a unique responsibility as citizens to self govern. The constitution actually starts with the words "We The People". So who is actually in charge in America? According to the Bible in Romans 13 all authority comes from God and people in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
Did it ever occur to you that in America, the people have been given the authority to influence and effect what happens in the nation through representative democracy under a constitutional republic? In my humble opinion, God allowed the United States government to be established the way it is and put the power of influence in the hands of its people.

With this being said, why do so many Christians avoid participating in influencing how the country operates? Why do so many Christians decide to simply not vote? No candidate is perfect, no party is going to make America perfect, but its pretty darn clear that one party almost aligns itself directly with satan when it comes to many things! They don't even hide it.
My point is, Jesus isn't on the ballot. If you are a Christian - you aren't obligated to vote per say, but you do have an opportunity to participate in helping put competent and somewhat decent people into office to rule over the land. So why throw away this opportunity to use your vote to influence how the nation is to be operated? You shouldn't, unless you are filled with apathy.
Curious as to what one of the founding fathers had to say about voting?
See what John Adams had to say..
John Adams
We electors have an important constitutional power placed in our hands; we have a check upon two branches of the legislature . . . the power I mean of electing at stated periods [each] branch. . . . It becomes necessary to every [citizen] then, to be in some degree a statesman, and to examine and judge for himself of the tendency of political principles and measures. Let us examine, then, with a sober, a manly . . . and a Christian spirit; let us neglect all party [loyalty] and advert to facts; let us believe no man to be infallible or impeccable in government any more than in religion; take no man’s word against evidence, nor implicitly adopt the sentiments of others who may be deceived themselves, or may be interested in deceiving us.
[“‘U’ to the Boston Gazette” written on August 29, 1763.]
I may not be able to change your mind or convince you to participate in your civic duty as an American, but I do encourage you to consider putting faith into action.

Three things you can do, regarding the nation, that can put feet to your faith:
1.) Pray
2.) Vote
3.) Stand
